As part of Carroll Hospice's support services, family members and friends can visit the spacious and comfortable Bereavement Resource Center, featuring a library filled with resources on hospice and the grieving process. The center is staffed by a bereavement counselor who can meet with visitors or help them locate library resources specific to their need. Funding for the Bereavement Resource Center was supported in part through a grant from the Maryland Home & Community Care Foundation.

A $10,000 grant for the Franciscan Center was used to set up a data base to store information for over 6,000 clients. This allows us to provide better follow-up, counseling, and referral services to other agencies in the local Baltimore area. This data base allows us to do a better job in monitoring and keeping up-to-date records on all those who come to our Center seeking emergency services.
Helping Up Mission
b
